Beginner Macramé - Double Hat Holder

Come hang out with Nischa for a beginner macramé workshop designed for ages 12 and up, where the focus is on learning at a comfortable pace in a relaxed, welcoming environment. I’ll guide you step-by-step through cord placement, tension control, spacing, and pattern alignment, making sure you feel confident as your project takes shape.

We’ll begin by working hands-on with the foundational macramé knots that form the backbone of countless designs, including the Lark’s Head knot for mounting your cords, the Square knot for building structure and pattern, and the Half Hitch and Spiral knot for adding movement, texture, and flow to your piece. As we practice these techniques, you’ll see how each knot naturally connects and builds into a beautiful, functional double hat holder you can use and enjoy at home.

This 2 hour workshop is ideal for anyone curious about macrame, looking to slow down, and wanting to learn practical techniques they can use in future macramé projects, from wall hangings to plant holders and beyond.

All materials will be provided, so you can simply show up, settle in, and enjoy the rhythm of knotting and creating. By the end of the class, you’ll walk away with a handcrafted piece that reflects both your new skills and your personal style — perfect for adding a soft, boho-inspired touch to any space.
