Storybook Swing Coat
PDF Pattern by Matchy Matchy Sewing Club
The Storybook Swing Coat is full of charm and a hint of nostalgia. Designed with a modern oversized Peter Pan-style collar and gently shaped inset sleeves, this coat offers a closer fit through the shoulders while leaving enough room for layering. The sleeves are intentionally a bit longer, designed to cover part of the hand for a cozy feel and to look just as good worn long as they do casually rolled. A back yoke and single deep pleat create that signature swing shape—easy, graceful, and just the right amount of playful. The coat closes with three buttons at the top, has extra large rounded patch pockets, and features softly curved corners along the front opening—all the little details that make it feel extra special.
